Thomas Anthony – a seasoned veteran of the citizenship by investment due diligence field – starts his new job as CEO of the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit today. “Starting tomorrow, I will be the CEO of the Grenada CBI Unit. So looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and colleagues and furthering the relationships formed over the past five years,” Anthony informed his LinkedIn-followers yesterday.
Anthony, who was Deputy CEO of the Antigua & Barbuda CIU between 2013 and 2017 – and also acted as interim CEO for several months toward the end of his tenure there, following the sudden departure of Chisanga Chekwe – last year took up a post in the private sector to become the Global Head of Exiger’s Immigration, Citizenship, and Visa Practice. Now, he’s back in what he calls “the administration side of the economic citizenship industry.”
Investment Migration Insider did not attempt to reach Anthony this morning due to the time difference between Europe and the Caribbean, opting instead for letting him have a good night’s sleep ahead of his first day in the new job.
